    mp3 conversion losing carons

I am converting some FLAC files to mp3 using Music Converter release 14.3. The composer is Antonín Dvo&*345;ák - the r has a caron (inverted circumflex) over it, which doesn't display properly in this forum. It is correct in the FLAC file but seems to disappear in the mp3 file. I know I have managed to do this successfully previously (maybe on an older version) so I am puzzled.

config is set to write tags as ID3v2.3

Ah - found it - it was set to ANSI - must have changed in the update. I'll try again now, thanks.
