    Support For Sequensed Music

I was wondering if anyone knows ANY way to ENCODE in a sequensed music format, be it mod, s3m, xm, it or even psf... with the source being either any streaming music format (mp3, wma or real) or an audio-cd.

I know Codec Central han nothing like that, only for decoding...

I'm really desperate for this. so if anyone knows a way, please let me know.. i'd be very grateful!

    Thanks in advance!

I don't think there is any way to do it automatically. I know you can transform a simple wave file to MIDI (MIDI being almost the same as a MOD, which is a script saying note on, note off, etc..) like a single flute playing a simple tune, but, as soon as you have 2 instruments playing at the same time, it stops working correctly. Just imagine with a full orchestra score?

Any audio format based of off the wave base form can't render every note individually because what it renders is the waveform of the complete ensemble.

perhaps the mod community might help with that? http://www.modplug.com/forums/index.html

generaly speaking you would create music using mod tracking/recording software like fast tracker and impulse tracker. but record streaming music?
