Converting FLAC to ALAC, Preserving ID Tags

For some reason, whenever I convert from FLAC to ALAC, all the metadata is preserved, but the embedded album art gets lost.

I have tried using the folder.jpg DSP(I think thats what its called, away from pc) but I always have to go in and manually embed the artwork again after conversion is complete.

This is a real pain, as I convert dozens of albums from FLAC to ALAC.

Am I missing a setting here?

    Thank you!

EDIT: I guess due to the high number of converts I do, I would mainly be interested in preserving embedded artwork for the batch converter

Right click on a FLAC file >> Edit ID Tag

does it show the album art at the bottom of the dBpoweramp tag editor?

      Well...this is embarrassing.

No, the album art is not there. I had just assumed the source was embedding the album art. I am more used to ripping using the CD Ripper, which preserves the art so nicely.

      Sorry. Problem solved : /
