Does the program support 8 bit WAV files?

I am getting this error when trying to convert a 8 bit wav file (telephone system voice mail)

Error converting to Wave, 'C:\Temp\Audio\In\000D0665.wav' to 'C:\Temp\Audio\Out\000D0665.wav'
Error Cannot Create Wave Decoder (CCITT u-Law)? [clWaveDecoder::PrepareToDecodeAudio]

Since this is about the only converter I have found that supports watch folderrs hopefully there is a way to get the correct codec.

i have the same problem, can you suggest and alternative please as DBpoweramp doesnt do it..
