Corrupt fields in MP3 converted using V13.5.0.2 on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

Converting WMA to MP3 (lame) corrupts or loses some tag fields, apparently because it puts the fields ONLY in a ID tag V3.1.

    Original:

    Result expected:

    Result observed:

This is using the Mp3tag configured to use (and prefer) ID3 V3.2:

    Windows 7 Pro 64-bit, dMC-R13.5-Ref-Registered.exe installing CoreConverter.exe V13.5.0.2 .

Is there a fix in R13? Thanks.

PS I cannot find where on http://www.dbpoweramp.com is the latest version of R13.

I'm not sure what the last version of r13 was. To download a registered version you need to use this link http://www.dbpoweramp.com/registration/ and input your order information.

Update - version 13.5 was the last release before r14 (see http://www.dbpoweramp.com/Version-Changes-DMC.htm)

Thanks. That offers "dBpoweramp Reference R13.5" but does not say if it is the latest version.

      Thanks.

Has anyone here succeeding on R13.5 in converting WMA to MP3 LAME?

Open dBpoweramp Configuration >> Codecs >> Advanced

mp3 tagging should be set to ID3v2 as ID3v1 cannot store those extra fields.

Thanks, but that is already set (unchanged from default):

Set the account dBpoweramp is running in to an Administrator account, then edit the advanced settings once more.

That's not acceptable for security reasons.

Is there no way to make R13 run properly on a Windows 7 standard account??

Note: I haven't edited them at all. These are factory settings.

Once you have changed the settings, you can revert the account to standard user.

Thanks. What change is required? You said "mp3 tagging should be set to ID3v2" and as the screenshot shows, it already is set so.

It will be on a different option when you elevate the account.

I take it then that the root problem is that when run under a user account, dBpoweramp fails to use the configuration it shows.

It is pretty important to me to have dBpoweramp use the configuration it shows, so thanks for your workaround, but I'd rather have a fix, if available.

Is this fixed in R14? I see http://www.dbpoweramp.com/Version-Changes-DMC.htm "dBpoweramp Configuration can save settings for limited user account" but no mention of a fix specifically to the failure to use the configuration showed.

                      Thanks.

                        R14 fixes the issue.
