24 bit wav to FLAC?

I'd like to stream my SACD titles. The only way I can see to do it is to record them and then stream them as FLACs. I've looked at a lot of digital recorders and it looks like the best format I can afford to do it in is a 24 bit WAV file and then convert it to FLAC. Will the music converter convert the 24 bit WAV files to FLAC?
