    Can't Detect CD Drive

I just installed dbPoweramp and I can't seem to convert any files. When I put an audio CD into the drive, dbpoweramp says it doesn't detect my cd drive. I am using windows 98 SE. I originally installed version 10 beta and then unistalled that and installed version 9.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! :headbang:

You have tried running 'Audio CD Input'?

Yes, and when I put in my CD, nothing happens. If I leave the CD in and open Media Player it plays on that.

If you click 'Options' in Audio CD Input does it list your CD drive? if it does not then look Support >> Audio CD Input in the 'ASPI' section - update it.

I'm fairly new to this so I appreciate your patience.

I have my hard drive partitioned C and D.
          My CDROM is E.
I don't understand from that thread what a virtual drive is etc. or if it's the same as my configuration/problem.
How do I go about updating the ASPI?

my options page does not look like that one. I have nothing showing up where it has a pull down menu for "Use CD Drive".

ok, make sure you have the latest beta also from here: http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=2261

it probably still is an aspi problem.

have checked what aspi version you have? you can just download this utility to check: aspi checker

and the link to the latest aspi drive to install: aspi drive download

and if still not working then check this info as well: http://www.chickensys.com/translator...iproblems.html
