Ie8 compatability

Hi - can anyone tell me if v14.3 is compatible with IE8? Im having problems installing it and suspect it is a problem with IE8.

IE8 is the internet explorer, if you have the full download correctly it should not matter what internet explorer is on the system.

What problems are you having?

Hi Spoon,

We use the s/w for converting Wav to MP3 files. Previous version we had was v12 and everything worked fine. When we installed IE 8 (we used be on IE6) then DB Poweramp stopped working so we bought new v14 and installed it. Now we get "Error cannot create Wave Decoder". We thought the upgrade to IE8 was somehow linked to it.
In any event we need to get the convertor back working asap.

The issue is, you used to have an ACM decoder which is no longer present on your system, dBpoweramp never supplies these, rather they come with Windows + any specialist devices you install on the system.

What created these wave files? 'Unknown ACM ID: 41216' - the type is not a common one.
