codec problems

i am having problems where i can no longer convert mp3 to wav as it says i require a codec. I have used dbpoweramp for nearly 2 years now and have never had a problem converting. I have tried removing and then re-downloading dbpoweramp but i still have the same problem. I have tried to download a codec but without any success. Can anyone help me or tell me where i am going wrong.
