Exporting Album Art from .ogg Vorbis wont work

    Hi,

as mentioned above the dBpoweramp Music Converter won't export the embedded Album Art from .ogg Files to cover.jpg or folder.jpg. using DSP-Effects / Actions -> ID Tag Processing -> Manipulation -> Export Album Art to cover.jpg.

Using the same Settings for exporting Album Art from other Formats (such as mp3, m4a, ...) works fine.

Even re-encoding .ogg files to any other format won't copy any Album Art from to destination id tags.

DBpoweramp Music Converter is Release 14.2, DSP Effects is Release 8, ogg vorbis is Release 21 (Ogg v1.2.2 Vorbis V1.3.2).

Does dbpoweramp show the art if you right click on an ogg file >> Edit ID Tags?

Right Click >> Edit ID Tags brings up the following:

      Coverartmime = image/jpg

      Should be fine I think?

That edit ID Tag page looks like dBpoweramp R11

        Try reinstalling R14

          Sorry, wrong screenshot:

btw: Reencoding using other Tools (f.e. MediaMonkey) works fine with the same file.

'COVERART' is not the correct way to store album art in an ogg file, METADATA_BLOCK_PICTURE is.

              Thanks for this hint.

Is there any way to move the existing Coverart to the right destination during the reencoding process?

              Regards

Off the top of my head I do not know, you could try the [ID Tag Update] utility codec and map Coverart to METADATA_BLOCK_PICTURE

That's what I thought about, but these ID Tags are not available in the ID Tag Update Utility as far as I can see...

Thanks for your support so far.
