wav to FLAC error

Just tried to convert the downloaded .wav file to FLAC

Error Chunk is out of file. [clRIFFHandler::ScanFile]

This file doesn t play on a LINN DS.
Ideas?

Ok, but then all 3 albums (50 songs) ,that I bought would be corrupted, because they show the same behaviour.
Maybe the offered files (musicload.de) are different from usual .wav files?

The error is, there is a chunk such as the data chunk which is the audio, at the beginning of the file, it says how long it is, but that chunk is cut short because the file is missing data from the end. Either the file is cut short, or the reported length is incorrect, either way the file is corrupted.

Now I tried NCH SWITCH Soundfile converter.

It was able to transform all those strange wav files into FLAC. And now they play on my Linn DS.

Hopefully there was no degrading of quality, when using this conversion program.
