multiple instances of WMA v9 conversions makes flawed files

this happens all the time for me, when making VBR files of either type, in multiple instances, parts on one instances will end up in the other,
so i get wma files with part of one song in the other as if it was spliced into it. very annoying :D
my thought: could it have something to do with both instances using the same tmp file?

No there is no temp file used for WMA (unless you have DSP effects, and even then it is a unique temp file).

Does it do it for CBR wma files?

yes, it does it in CBR if 2-pass is checked

When two windows are in the last part of the 2-pass % counter, the numbers seem to get jumbled between the windows. both windows would show the same % value... its really wierd should i send you samples of the resulting wmas ?

I don't think there is anything I can do, nothing is shared between the two programs, I is possibly a Microsoft thing.
