Alright, I am relatively new to this.
I use the converter to convert the audio files to mp3. I understand that this takes some time for compression. I am using the VBA, which takes longer, for better quality. Also I am using the trial Power Pac to "rip as one" because I am using this mostly for my Rio portable player, which
plays these things, but I can't get it to jump to the next "cut" or album.
Anyway, the main question is when I go to dbwriter, and request the
single album cut, it TAKES FOREVER FOR IT TO PREPARE FOR CONVERSION TO AUDIO. Didn't the converter already do that? It seems before I downloaded the writer, player, and power pac, that it did it in seconds. Isn't it basically doing the conversion twice? Finally, what is the easiest way to prepare to load a cd-r? Do I convert, select and prepare cut, and add ALL the cuts before the writing, and in that way know how much space is left on the disc? HELP!
