Problem converting .wav to .mp3. Maybe files too large?

I am having a problem converting larger .wav files. Is there a limit to the size that dbpowerAMP can handle? I have used other apps that use the same codecs with no problem. Any ideas? I get this error with both lame and blade.
"The CODEC required to compress 'file.mp3' could not be opened."

Possibly the mp3 compression settings used, try different settings.

No, I have been converting many files since I found the program. This was a file that I recorded into a .wav through Soundforge 6. I have never had problems like this before, I do this routinely. I record the Essential mixes from BBC Radio One. Must have been a one time thing. Oh well.
