I purchased Paragon-Softwares HSF for Windows and re-ripped a bunch of iTunes Apple Lossless files for a friend so he could use them on his PC. After loading HSF for Windows sure enough I could see his iTunes folder and used dbPowerAmp to re-rip them as extreme VBR MP3's on my PC.
Question is will he be able to see them on his PC without buying HFS for Windows since I re-ripped them on my PC with dbPowerAmp to VBR Mp3's will they be NTFS. Any help before I give him back his drive would be much appreciated. I do not have access to another PC to check.
The re-rips open with Windows Media Player and sound great. I am hoping they got converted from HFS to NTFS during the re-rip process, but again I have no idea.
I tried calling tech support at Paragon but they are closed till Monday. Any way to check if the files are NTFS or HSF would be greatly appreciated.
