DSP Effects release 8 shows as beta upon install

Just installed the final released DSP Effects Release 8. Installs fine, but afterwards when running dbpa configuration and checking for updates, it shows that the installed version (release 8) is beta and still offers to install DSP Effects. Shows:

DSP Effects 'Release 8' existing: Release 8 beta

please advise. thanks.
