Ok garym. I'll do that. Just seeing the error got me worked up and lodged in my brain.

It is NOT an error. It is a warning.

          Hi all.

Ok bad news is the backups of this file I have gives the same error on test conversion.

Better news is the file converted to flac fine and when running a test conversion on the flac file doesn't give any errors or warnings. Is that good enough to say the file is ok ?
As its just the ONE file out of the 40 downloads should I be concerned ? Should I email Paul McCartney.com ? Not yet listened to it. Bit worried to !

Whats the differance between error and warning ?
Just once I see an error it sticks with me.

Ok Garym, but What's the differance between error and warning ?

Surely if it's just the file file out of 40 would say its a problem.

an error is an actual error (something wrong). A Warning is just telling you that the program noticed something that you might want to know about. Not an error. And then it tells you why it thinks it should warn you. Spoon told you what the warning meant, and that it was just a bit of into entered in a place where the program wasn't expecting it. This is the problem with WAV files: that is, there are no standards and people add tags, etc. in all sorts of ways. And one program may see something as odd (a warning) where a different program may see it as normal. Again, no standards with WAV files so it is like the wild west.

I don't see any problem here. But if it makes you feel better, contact the website, tell them that 1 track was corrupted (even though understand that this WAV file is NOT corrupted), and then ask them to let you download again. They should say yes without hesitation. If you download again, and get the same warning, don't worry about it. It just means that they consistently encoded that track with this extra bit of info. It's not hurting anything.
