I transcoded 5.1 channel Flac to 5.1 channel LPCM with eac3to tool, since dMC can't do it. To verify, I imported resulting LPCM into Audacity, and it played correctly. Then I wanted to transcode the LPCM into 5.1 ALAC with the latest dMC version I'm testing. I installed LPCM codec from this site. Resulting file was playing very slow in Foobar2000, and MediaInfo ID'd it as 2-channel ALAC instead of 5.1 channel. When I was doing the transcoding, dMC GUI did not show any selectable options to input actual LPCM file specs (number of channels, bitrate, depth, etc). Why is that, and how to transcode LPCM correctly without proper GUI interface?
