    only one cpu core visible and used if running DMC from a guest account.

    Well, win7, 64b, DMC 14.2.
    Under admin/user it sees all 8 cores (4 real and 4 ht).
    Under guest it only sees one.
    I'd like not to have to run DMC or batch converter under admin (or runas as a user with higher than guest groups) first to be able to use all the cores.

      no, a member of the local guests group and nothing else (i.e. not a user or admin)

        The system seriously limits what a guest can do, I am guessing it even limits the cpu lookup check.
