Help please: Music converter hangs at "Examining Source..."

Hi-

I am trying to btach convert about 4000 music files (mostly wma and mp3) in to mp3 with 160kps. I only manage to start the process when using somethin like 50 files or less. more than that, and the system hangs at at "Examining Source & Overwrite Check". I have tried reinstalling, also tryied to convert to different format and using other decoders. always the same results.

I own the release 13.5

is this a known issue? any ideas?

Examining source reads the I'd tags, you might have a file which is causing issues, but I cannot say if was fixed in r14.xx, see if you can split the encoding into less files then narrow down the freeze
