Rio500 Problems

on the "add portable audio device" screen, it does not register it as installed. running windows 98, plenty of memory and ram, it's plugged in, has fresh batteries, every driver needed to run, but IT'S NOT SHOWING UP TO ADD!!!!!!!!!!

Two things you can check, firstly when you plug the Rio in to the computer you should hear a noise, and if you look in device manager it should say Rio 500 in the USB section.

Secondly on the first Add Device page - click advanced, there listed should be the Diamond Rio 500 device driver, is it?
