    FLAC to Apple Lossless question

Hi, I have an album in FLAC and I'm trying to convert it to Apple Lossless.

All the songs for this album are stored in one big FLAC file and my media player uses the .CLUE file to recognize the individual songs.

When I convert this FLAC file to Apple Lossless I get just one file with the whole album.

Is it possible to use the information in the CLUE file to separate the individual songs when converting to Apple Lossless?

Not with dBpoweramp, there are other programs such as CueRipper which I think can do this.

      Yes, it worked.

I used CueTools (distributed in the same package as CueRipper) to break the big file into the individual songs and then used dbpoweramp to convert the files to Apple Lossless.

      Thank you.
