How to join 2 mp3's into 1?

the only way I have found is by using a audio edit program for example mp3 direct cut or audacity

I've just been messing about & have now managed it by converting to wav & then with a right click I loaded up sound recorder which lets you do it through 'mixing', then converted back to an mp3.
