VMWare Fusion 3.0/Windows 7

Hi,

I'm trying to run Music Converter under VMWare Fusion 3.0 under Windows 7. It appears to function properly but the AIFF files I create are much larger than those created by OS X native applications and the signal created by the files falls way into the red on both my Audiophilleo 1 and in Amarra. Does anyone know what might be wrong?

Make sure you have no DSP effects in use.

No, I'm using the simplest, most basic setup one can.

You are creating 44KHz 16 bit files? if so the length of the file should be 176KB * length of file in seconds.
