Conversion time gets a lot longer

    Hi,
I used Drivespeed to boost my conversions, going from 12 to 5 mn (WMA 192, 2 pass, converting to Ram, on a P4 2,4 GHz with 512 Mo DDR 333). I have a Matsushita DVD-R burner (32X DAE).

Since this time, I made 3 changes on my PC :

    a) I now have 1 GB memory
    b) I switched the master/slave status on my disk and burner (the burner was master, now it's the opposite)
    c) I registered Powerpack

Suddenly it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to convert a disk (still using Drivespeed). Any suggestion ?

    Many thanks, Frank

Make sure the priority fo Compression is 'Normal' or 'Below Normal' - then quit and try once more (WMA does not like the level changing).

If no luck try ripping to Wave it should rip very fast, 32x.
