I would like to ask 2 questions:
1) When I rip a single cd track using alt.presets.standards (and maybe also with other presets ?) I get the conversion window with the (fun) progress bar (and the rip to ram window when using the powerpack options). I noticed that in the course of the conversion the (fun)progress bar disappears now and then for a short while. It looks that there also is a short pause at the same time.
Although it is not really a problem - the ripping is done well - I wonder if this is normal.
When I don't use presets and rip with e.g. CBR 128kb/s, the progress bar is there all the time. This is also the case when I rip a complete cd.
2) Is it advisable to replace the Lame enc.dll 3.92 by version 3.90.3 ? I read somewhere that the older version of Lame is better. Is this true ?
