How can I save/load the settings to/from disc file?

including the Options: e.g. DSP settings.

I need to store the settings in a file in project folder under version control. Thanks.

It is all in the registry (HKCU\Software\Illustrate)

Thanks. I would very much like an option for them to be a separate file, so that project/version control can handle them.
