Issue converting from Apple Lossless to Wave

Trying to convert from Apple Lossless (ripped w/ dB 14) to wave. The converter believes all files were converted correctly. However, when I try to play w/ Windows Media, or, Load into Nero Express to burn CD, most of the files (9 out of 13) fail. I get the error message (in WM) "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. One or more codecs required to play the file could not be found." and (in NE) "The file format is not supported". The files are on a networked USB drive, however, since four files were converted correctly... The apple lossless files all play fine in iTunes.

If you are creating an uncompressed wave then there are no codecs to load, so if must be a file access issue over the network. Try copying the file to the local pc.

I copied my apple lossless files to computer running dB. Tried again, same failure. I then re-ripped CD to Apple Lossless to same computer directory and tried again to convert (into same directory). Same result. 9 of 13 files (the same ones) aren't recognized as wave files.

Install the Audio Info Codec from:

Then take one of the files which is not recognized and right click on it >> Convert To >> Audio Info, after doing this the technical details on the track are shown, copy and post as a message please.

One other piece of information. I had actually combined songs from two different CDs, and I notice that the four songs that worked were from the other CD. So, all of the songs from one of the CDs has this issue.
