AAC not available?
January 26, 2011, 05:15 PM
I have installed the Nero AAC codec (or rather dMC did) but when I try to convert a file, nero AAC is greyed out.
Any ideas?

Re: AAC not available?
It is not installed correctly, download from Codec Central (the encoder, 2nd link)
dBpoweramp Codec Central m4a (Apple Lossless & AAC)
http://www.dbpoweramp.com/codec-central-m4a.htm
And install to the same location as dBpoweramp

Re: AAC not available?
Yes, see the help presented after the install where you obtain the Nero AAC encoder.
