I don't know if anyone else has encountered this problem. I can't seem to find any similar problem on this forum. The 21 day trial for dBpoweramp Release 14 recently expired, so I just registered the program and paid the $38 registration fee. I downloaded the file 'dMC-R14-Ref-Registered' from the provided link, but when I open the file , I get the following error:
16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem
The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction.

I have downloaded this file several times, with the same results. Meanwhile, dBpoweramp is showing that it is still not registered. I don't know what else to do about this. I am running XP Pro Service pack 3, on a Pentium 4 3GHz (single core) CPU, with 2.5 Gigs of memory. The trial version worked perfectly, but now i don't have a working (paid) version. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
