Problem converting vinyl FLAC rips to Apple Lossless

Hello,

I'm using an apple ipod touch 3g, which can only play music with a sample rate of 44.1 khz. I have some vinyl rips that I converted to ALAC, but the sample rate on these rips is 96 khz. Is there a way for me to decrease the sample rate, either by modifying the ALAC files or changing the method that I use to convert them from FLAC?

Use the DSP effects 'Resample' and Bit depth when converting.
