'Provides audio information for dbpoweramp has stopped working'

Hello all,

I keep getting the error:

'Provides audio information for dbpoweramp has stopped working'

This pops up on the screen constantly even when I'm not using the program and I don't know how to resolve it. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software but no good.

Any help?

dBpoweramp Configuration >> Music Converter and disable the shell integration options.

It sounds like you have a file which is causing issues with our codec.

Thanks, I'm no longer getting the error.

Any way of finding out which file is causing the problem? I'd like to be able to re-enable the integration options.

It is likely if you enable it again then browse to specific folders the bad file will be in a specific folder, if there are not many files in the folder you can separate them.
