I'm sorry if my question was already posted but I didn't find any related topic.
I have converted some lossless WAV files (44,1 khz / 16-bit / stereo) to WMA 9.2 lossless format (with same sample rate and bitdepth). Sometimes, when I check the 'verify audio' option, the later fails and there is the error message "Error audio file failed verification".
In order to understand why the verification fails, I have converted back WMA files to WAV. I have compared initial WAV files and new WAV files : the uncompressed data are unchanged, except for the extreme end of the data where very few bytes (around 20 or 30, it depends on the input file) are lost.
I guess dozens of bytes are insignificant compared with the entire audio file, but lossless is lossless, so any idea what is the problem ?
