HDCD decoding

Hi. Someone mentioned to me HDCD decoding capability of dbpoweramp program. I am very interested in this feature. I've already ripped all my CDs to FLAC and use computer based transport. The HDCDs that I have are ripped as redbook CD. It would be great if dbpoweramp can somehow re-encode the HDCD encoded CD as 20 or 24bit FLAC while preserving the enhancement employed with HDCD encoding. I'm curious exactly what dbpoweramp does when it converts HDCD to 20 or 24 bit PCM. Can someone tell me exactly what dbpower amp does and doesn't do when handling HDCDs? If dbpoweramp can really extract the extra resolution from HDCD I'd be very interested in purchasing this software and re-rip my HDCDs.

It can, convert all your FLAC >> FLAC with the HDCD dsp effect, if it is HDCD for a track then the flac will be expanded to 24 bit (20 bit used)
