FLAC (on NAS) to MP3

Hi

I have all my CDs in FLAC on my NAS.

I recently bought an iPhone4 so am thinking of putting some music there.

Can I use DMC to convert the FLAC in my NAS, then save the converted mp3 to my local PC C drive 'My Music' folder? meaning can I point the converted files to another location as part of the conversion?

Will this conversion to mp3 affect the original FLAC files in the NAS?

The flac files will be untouched, you can do the conversion if the PC is able to browse the files on the NAS, use the program 'dBpoweramp Batch Converter'.
