Lack of quality options for AAC

I've been trying out the music converter over the last few days and there's one thing that's bugging me: the lack of quality options for AAC encoding. Why isn't there a quality step every .05 units instead of .1 (like there is when encoding to MP3) or even the ability to manually specify a quality value? A difference of .1 between quality steps is huge.

You could edit the encoder.txt file in the Progam Files\Illustrate\dbpoweramp\Encoders\m4a (Nero aac) folder.

Thank you that's exactly what I was looking for! I'd been checking application data and the registry for settings and didn't think to look in the program directory.
