new beta won't work for me!

I have downloaded and installed the beta 3 times, but when I try to play any music or just start it alone, nothing happens.
What am I doing wrong? I am running ME and all other betas and amp players have worked.

If you have Windows 95/98/ME and have installed any DSP effects you need to uninstall them, it currently does not work.
