Can someone please clarify for me the difference between Replay Gain Apply and Volume Normalize and how to apply it to the following situation.
I have an FLAC library with Replay Gain tags for tracks and albums created using DBpoweramps converter. I would now like to covert those FLAC files into "volume normalized" mp3 files for playback on ipods directly and in the car.
Is the best way to do so to simply convert to mp3 using the Volume Normalize effect (without the replay gain tag)? Alternatively, should I apply the Replay Gain (Apply) effect?
