MP3 to RA conversion

Repeatedly tried to convert mp3 to ra with no success. I have downloaded RA Player 8 twice and RA codec many times. I installed codec to dbPoweramp folder but cannot seem to bring up any convert to menu. I have lame and ogg showing when I right click a file name. HELP!!

Did you download and install the RA "encoder" codec (2Mb) or the
"decoder" codec (big difference)?

You wrote that you can't bring up a convert to menu. Does this
mean that you also can't convert MP3's to other formats (WAV for example)? In that case, run the dbpoweramp converter config
program, tick the "Convert to" box (if it's not checked) and click
on OK.

All fixed now

Managed to fix it the other day. It was lack of the second RA codec (writing) that caused the grief. Now all I need to do is figure out how to get control of volume back on Music Match and machine is 100 percent just like it was prior to crash. I am sure this is a conflict with some piece of software (probably a game).
