Slow convertion

Slow convertion

When i convert a mp3 to wav it takes about 3 min. Is this normal or do i really have a problem?
I think it can be faster then that.

Depending on computer (mine is 800MHZ) it should take about 10-20 seconds.

That is for a 3 minute mp3 file (in length) converting to uncompresses wave (PCM).

slow conversion

I have uninstall all of dB and put in it on my pc again. I is faster now. I still need 1 min. to convert mp3 to wav.
A 4 min mp3 file in length.
I have a 650 MHZ. 128Mb ram, Win 98 se.
