year of album not present in music collection

Hi, i note that the year you put in audio cd input for the tag info is not displayed in the music collection. I note that the audio cd input write a tag info like taht date=1999 but the music collection read a tag info like that YEAR=1999. Can you explain that?If not, maybe you can correct it?
