    Problem with MP3 to m4a and m4b

I haven't had trouble before, but now when ever I convert a mp3 to either m4a or m4b the file comes out protected. I didn't think that I could do that, but it happens.

How do I prevent this? I do have itunes 10 and the latest quicktime. I also have the latest codecs for m4a, m4b and acc installed.

    Help!

    Thanks:(

How do you know it is protected?

Windows 7 reports it as protected in the information and shows a m4a/m4b icon with a lock on it instead of the usual m4a/m4b icon.

I reinstalled the nero ACC package, to no avail. I do have the latest codecs installed and am using the latest version of Music Converter 13.5 Reference

I can assure you it is not protected and Windows 7 is reporting wrong.
