Channel Split

Hi,

another stupid question:

I tried to convert a stereo wav file into two monofiles with channel split.
But it doenst work - i get the files - but they sound really distorted.
Adobe Audition can not open them. Does anybody know what I am doing wrong?

PS: It would be really cool if there would be also a tool to create mulitchannel files again from monofiles...

Try audacity please as a test to open the wav files.
