How to drop track number during conversion?

Can the track number be eliminated as part of the converted file name? The source appends a track number from the original CD. When doing a batch conversion, the track becomes part of the name of the song?

Can the track number be ignored during the conversion process?

Yes. You just need to amend how the target files are to be named. When using the converter this is the Arrangement field.

There is the Dynamic Naming where you can specify your own filename base on ID Tags, such as:

[artist] - [title]

yes, you set this in the dynamic naming string (see lower left side of ripping screen, select the "set" button next to dynamic naming. Then use whatever string you'd like, including one that does not include track no.

I would keep a track number there, because there are often CDs where the same track appears twice on the disc (with the same name)
