Am new user of sqeeezebox touch connected to my audio system, how can I convert my ITunes Library on my PC with Windows XP into FLAC??
Can anyone help a beginner with the steps required using the recommended dbpoweramp program.

Are your iTunes library files protected (m4p) or unprotected (m4a)?

I believe they are 'unprotected'; only very few tracks were purchased from itunes store (my guess is 3 to 5 tracks out of about 5200).
Any advice would be appreciated.

converting your existing lossy itunes library to flac will not improve the quality.
