    converted files cut off

First off, hello everyone, first post here and all that.

Second, I am currently using dBpowerAMP Music Converter 11.5 which I downloaded from hlss.us in order to convert sound files into .wav format so they can be used in games such as TF2. The problem I am having is one of two things typically happening. One is that the file will not convert, and I get an error saying "the file 'filename' could not be opened." I'd say this problem has happened with roughly 15% of the files I try to convert.

The other problem is much smaller, but still an annoyance. A small percent of files that I convert will sometimes be cut off by a second or so, and since I typically use such small sound files to begin with (typically 1-3 seconds long) it makes a lot of difference.

Thank you for your help in advance.

Try R13.5, there have been many changes in the 5 years since R11.5 was released.
