Error dBpoweramp Batch Converter

Hi All,

I always use dBpoweramp Batch Converter to enhance my mp3 files, but once in a while I get this error:

Error converting to mp3 (Lame) "filename" error decoding mp3 data steam, is corrupt

What can I do to fix this?

I have an error converting to ogg vorbis...and my originals (mp3) play just fine

The mp3 files might be freeformat (over 320kbps) which is not supported by the converter.

A work-around that I would use without having to buy any new software would be to use Winamp (http://www.winamp.com) or CDex (http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/?q=download) to convert your MP3 to a WAV. You can then use dBpoweramp to convert the WAV to an MP3.
