    ipod problem

I am having some strange problems in converting my songs from flac, i will try to explan. I am ripping Cds into Flac format onto my NAS drive, then I am using the poweramp convertor to convert into mp3. I then add this file into the itunes libary on my computer. all songs play ok up to this point. I then sync the ipod and download the songs to the ipod, all the songs appear in the list on the ipod, but some songs will not play on the ipod. if I use media player instead of the poweramp converter to rip directly from the cd there is no problem playing back on the ipod, is anyone able to help thanks
