I've been playing with R14 beta and just noticed when I rip to flac with CD Ripper then convert to lame with dMC it no longer updates the id tags the way it used to. I have the default option in dMC to update tags in settings checked.
flac example:
<ENCODED BY> dBpoweramp Release 14
<ENCODER> FLAC 1.2.1
<ENCODER SETTINGS> -compression-level-5 -verify
<SOURCE> CD (Lossless)
dMC convert from flac to lame example:
<ENCODER> Lame 3.98.3
<ENCODING SETTINGS> -V="0" -encoding="SLOW"
Now it drops the <source> and <encoded by> tags
I don't have any mp3's from older versions but dMC used to update this tag in previous version to say something like this:
<ENCODED BY> dBpoweramp Release 14 dMc
<SOURCE> CD (Lossless) > Lame (Lossy)
Was this an intentional change?
