    Problem With Muspac

    Hi all

I am new around here. Just downloaded dBpoweramp to check it out and so far I like it.

However I am having a problems converting MPC braindead to Apple lossless for play on an Ipod. It simply locks up. No problem converting to flac first using Foobar then to apple lossless but of course it would be great if I didn't have to go through the flac step.

    Thanks
    Bill

Music converter. It still seems to be using CPU but does nothing. I have had problems with some programs and musepack. They evidently haven't made it the latest version compliant. I had a long technical explanation of the problems in doing this by a person at logitech in relation to the squeeze-box. It evidently is supposed to work with musepack but didn't. Making it compliant with the latest version was evidently a royal pain in the but and because hardly anyone uses it they weren't going to bother. Still said it played musepack which really was not quite true. BTW it did the same thing as well - simply sat there and did nothing while chewing up VCU.

      Thanks
      Bill

Try installing the latest beta version of the codec (it is in the beta section of this forum).

That worked just fine. Obviously what I was trying to decode was encoded with 8.

          Thanks
